A new testing campaign is underway at the Structures Laboratory in the framework of Herakleitos project. The project focuses on the behaviour of seismically deficient masonry-infilled RC frames which are retrofitted by advanced techniques to become seismically resistant. A 3-storey structure is considered, an internal bay of which is masonry-infilled and tested to failure, both before and after intervention. The first test to be performed regards the determination of the dynamic characteristics of the specimen through a snap-back (pull and release) free-vibration test.
