A second 3-storey masonry-infilled frame was tested within the HERAKLEITOS project. The second 2/3-scale specimen was strengthened with Textile-Reinforced Mortar (TRM) and was tested under cyclic loading following the same pattern with the previously tested control specimen.

The innovative material used in this study (TRM) was applied for the first time in the case of infilled frames and exhibited excellent performance, resulting in significant increase in both the stiffness and the lateral strength of the specimen, as well as in larger global ductility with respect to the Control specimen.
