First international distributed test
in

The first international hybrid test was conducted in November between the Structures Laboratory (UPAT), the University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and the University of Toronto.
The test involved a real three-span bridge of the Egnatia highway. The structure was split in 5 substructures: the deck and two piers were treated analytically at AUTH, one rubber-bearing isolator was tested physically at UPAT and another was numerically simulated at the University of Toronto.
