Software
ANSRuop is a non-linear dynamic analysis package developed by Prof. M. Fardis and doctoral students at the University of Patras. The software builds around the basic solution engine of ANSR-I (Mondkar DP, Powel GH., 1975 "ANSR-I General purpose program for analysis of structural response", UCB/EERC75-37, Earthq. Eng. Research Center, Un. of California, Berkeley, Ca) and is used as the Lab’s nonlinear analysis workhorse.
The program was developed at the Structures Laboratory, Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Patras, Greece, under the scientific supervision of professor M. N. Fardis. The development team is now aiming at expanding the program, by adding the capability of structural design according to EC2/EC8.
